The Dress You Need For Summer

Alright friends, if you missed my Instagram post earlier today I stated how much of a mess I am this Monday. We had a great weekend, but I’ve just finished my third coffee for the day, have 12 loads of laundry to do ( I mean at this point I’ve just given up on laundry) and I can’t stop myself from daydreaming about a beach vacation to somewhere tropical. With all that being said, there is just not enough time for everything to get done some weekends, and this weekend was definitely one of them, and because of that my blog post is going up a little later than normal. But hey, better late than never right? Also, I would never not share this look with you all because it is seriously just SO cute. I hope you all enjoyed your weekend and spent time doing what makes you happy, whatever that may be.

Moving on- if you haven’t already seen this dress ( I probably overshared this outfit on Instagram) but it was just such a good one. I’m really into blue and white right now and have had to put a hold on buying more blue and white, because I know you guys want to see a little variety and I’m trying to branch out and add some more color to my wardrobe. It’s been so fun to incorporate new colors that I wouldn’t typically wear!

This dress might be one of the most flattering dresses I’ve bought in a long time. It’s fitted in all the right places but not to an extent where it’s too tight or not classy. I love the ruffle sleeves and the pretty ruffled bottom. It gives it such a fun feel! I would say to size up in the dress if you do decide to order it, as it does run a bit small. Items from that retailer typically do run small as they come from China, so keep that in mind if you decide to shop my post at the bottom.

I paired this summery ruffle dress with an amazing sun hat that would be perfect for a day at the pool or a vacation this Summer. I snagged this one up at Ross for $9! Yes, you read that right. Such a great deal. So, unfortunately I can’t link that exact hat, but these hats are a huge trend right now and you can find amazing ones just about anywhere. So don’t worry, I’ve linked some very similar options down below.

I ended up keeping my shoes somewhat neutral and wearing my go-to Marc Fisher wedges, because why not? They go with just about everything and I can honestly walk around in them for hours, which is a big A + in my book. I’ve linked my exact pair as well as some less expensive dupes that look almost identical. Last but not least, my earrings! I am SO obsessed with these earrings that I literally bought them in three colors. Now, I will say they were definitely a splurge for me and I typically don’t spend much on earrings. However, I’ve had my eye on these for so long, so when I saw that they were on sale for 1/4 of the price, I bought three colors. I’ve linked them below, but they are no longer on sale at the price I got them for. Also, I’ve had some questions regarding the weight of these earrings so I wanted to answer that as well. For how big of a statement these earrings are, they are so light! I was  a little worried these would be uncomfortable or too heavy for my ears, and they are so light weight. I wore them out the other night for Cinco De Mayo and wore them for 4+ hours and my ears were fine! So if you’re looking for a light weight pair of statement earrings that will go with just about everything, these are definitely for you.

Alright friends, I hope you love this look because I’m wearing it on repeat. Especially the cute little dress. Oh, and I’m not sure if I mentioned this already but the dress is under $35, so run and get it before it sells out. It did sell out last week, and then they restocked it, so be sure to head to the website and get it asap if you want it. I’ll link all my outfit details below so you can shop them, or just browse around! Have a wonderful Monday, and stay tuned for the next post in my Wedding Wednesday series. There are only two more left and then I’ll be sharing our wedding video, which I’m so excited to share with you all.

The Perfect Pair

Happy Friday everyone! I am so ready for the weekend and can’t wait to do some relaxing and enjoy some patio time. I shared a sneak peak of this cute and affordable outfit on Instagram and I’m so excited to show you the rest. I am definitely a sucker for anything white or lace, so when I saw this perfect white lace top I had to have it. Unfortunately my exact top is sold out, but I have found some others that are very similar! I paired this dainty lace top with a longer nude blazer and then added some pops of blush. If you’re anything like me, and are loving the blush trend, you need to try this combination. I love how this look turned out. It’s the perfect mix of girly but also chic. I love to mix different styles and create a unique look, and this outfit was definitely a product of mixing and matching. I paired the blazer and top with these wedges that I’m sure you’ve seen EVERYWHERE. But, I’ll be totally honest here- the reason you have seen them on everyone is because they literally are as great as everyone says! I was skeptical when purchasing these because they were a little on the pricey side, but I splurged and went for it and I’m so glad I did. These shoes are so versatile, comfortable, and can be paired with pretty much any type of outfit. I’m not lying when I say it was EASY for me to walk my two huge dogs in these shoes! Usually when I’m in heels and my husband and I need to walk the dogs for a bit, I’ll have to change- but not with this pair! So these are perfect for just about everything, and to make your day even better there is now a dupe of these shoes. My Marc Fisher Adalyn Espadrilles are actually a dupe for a pair of Chloe Espadrilles, so essentially these are a dupe of a dupe. I will share all three pairs below since they are all at different price points. Last but not least I added my blush Tory Burch Robinson tote to finish off the look. I hope you’ll all find a little something you love here, because these items are amazing. Per usual, I’ll link everything from my photos at the bottom of today’s post.
