It’s that time of year again, the time where we’re transitioning from jeans and pants, to skirts and shorts. For me it’s always a tricky transition because first off, I’m usually really pale and so not ready for shorts. Second, I have had trouble finding shorts I love the past couple of seasons. I’m currently on the hunt for a good pair for Spring & Summer and will be sharing which brand I choose and why in a month or so. I’ve also never really been a fan of self tanners because they usually leave me orange and splotchy, but I have found a couple I really love, and will be sharing those soon as well! So for that awkward transition time when it’s way too hot for jeans, and you don’t have a pair of shorts you love, grab a romper.
Seriously, this might be one of my favorite styles. I love a cute romper, and there are so many good ones to choose from. Personally I’m loving off the shoulder ones lately. You all know I love that look, so when I found this one with the stripes and off the shoulder style, I got it right away! It was so reasonably priced as well.
I wanted to add a little more depth to my look, so I paired it with a black floppy hat and oversized black tote, and I’m loving it. I will definitely be outfit repeating in this look. Every piece I’m wearing is under $50, and can be worn in different seasons. The romper is primarily for Spring and Summer, but the bag, shoes, and hat could all be worn in different seasons. I was a little nervous about the hat, because I’ve always loved this look, but never been brave enough to try it. Oh my goodness, I’m so glad I did because it is such a cute style. Plus, you can totally rock a hat like this on a bad hair day and still look super chic! I will link all my outfit details at the bottom ladies. Oh, and don’t forget that on Friday I’ll be sharing my Six Months of Marriage and Six Things We’ve Learned post. I’m so excited to share that one with you all, and I’m hoping you all love it and find some encouragement in it. If someone hasn’t already told you today, have a beautiful day and smile, and if you’ve already gotten that encouragement today, hearing it twice won’t hurt! I appreciate each and every one of you!
