Happy Wednesday friends! This coming weekend might be one of my busiest weekends in a long time. I’m currently packing up to head to College Station, Texas this weekend. My younger sister is getting her Aggie Ring and my husband and I (and of course our two fur children) are making a road trip there for the weekend. BUT, we have to head back fairly early Sunday morning as we both have prior commitments that afternoon. I have a super fun shoot that afternoon that I correlated with a few other Dallas Fashion + Lifestyle Bloggers. I am so excited to share it with you all and I think you will all enjoy it as much as me. Hint, Hint, there will be a giveaway! So you definitely do not want to miss that post! On a side note, I will have a blog post up Friday morning with all my skincare favorites.
I wanted to share this fun little outfit with you all before the weekend, as I will most likely be MIA from social media for a day or so. As per usual I will link all my outfit details for you at the bottom. I do my best to link items that are in stock, but that is not always the case. By the time I shoot an outfit and get it up on the blog, the item could be sold out. I will be adding a shop page to my blog soon, and will add everything I have purchased or am wanting to purchase to that page. That way you can shop the items before I do a blog post on them.
Now, to the fun stuff! I love how simple this outfit was to put together. I ordered this dress from Missguided a couple weeks ago, and was so excited it arrived in time for me to shoot in! I am all about the plunging neck lines lately, and I know these can be intimidating for many reasons. A couple tips for wearing the plunging neck line. 1. Stock up on some cute bralettes for underneath low cut tops/dresses. 2. Keep in mind that the deeper the plunge, the less support there is in that area. So remember that when you’re shopping! It has really helped me to know how much of a plunging neckline I can wear and still look classy!
This dress was all about the details for me. The deep and vibrant shades of flowers, and the adorable detailing on the sleeves and under the bra line. It is the perfect dress for a night out, or you could pair this with some dressy sandals and make a day look out of it. It all just depends on where you’re needing to go. I of course, added another sleeveless vest to give it a little extra depth. I always love layering, and you can definitely layer well into Spring and Summer with lighter pieces. I paired it with a classic nude heel and threw a bag over my shoulder and I was ready to go! Enjoy your weekend, and I will be sure to update you on my crazy and busy weekend next week! As always, feel free to leave comments or questions. Or if you just want to stop by for some girl talk I’m totally okay with that too!
